In her series Grandma Book Travels Raejean Kanter combines two of her passions: love of children and travel. A grandmother of six, she has traveled to over forty countries in the world. The mission of the series is to help young children learn about the other cultures to foster a greater understanding of inclusion. Ms. Kanter has a BBA from St. Norbert College
and a MEd from Cardinal Stritch University.
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATORS
Ily is a designer & illustrator based in Nashville, Tennessee. She is inspired by repetitive rhythm, warm days, organic shapes, and colors of a summer sunset. She earned her BFA in Graphic Design at Watkins College of Art, Design, & Film. When she is not creating, she is daydreaming & exploring the beautiful world around her; finding appriciation in the little joys of life.
For over 30 years, Rick Eshbaugh has been an illustrator and animator in southeastern Wisconsin. He has a great curiosity about the world around him and has always enjoyed children’s literature.
Rick and his wife, a teacher, have two grown children, who also love children’s books. This is the first book Rick has illustrated and he looks forward to sharing his art with young readers.
